This is the recording from the live Body Wisdom workshop held in May.

Running for the second time, Body Wisdom is a deep dive into our unique wisdom and a way for you to connect with your body in a more authentic and compassionate way. If you have ever felt disconnected from your body, whether it’s from stress, anxiety, a traumatic event or other conditions, or you’ve simply neglected it in some way, this is an ideal practice for you.

When was the last time you were deeply present within your body? Allowed it to speak to you and intuitively guide you, rather than letting it be governed by the mind? 

As we transition through seasons, cycles and societal shifts, it’s essential we are deeply attuned to our bodies’ and the inner landscape of ourselves. This will enable you to feel more grounded, connected and intuitive.

During this workshop, we will explore intuitive and somatic movement, breath-work and self-touch which will;

  • Ground you and balance your autonomic nervous system

  • Evolve your body awareness and deepen a connection with your body

  • Explore self-massage to give your body what it needs, an empowering practice to repeat in your own time

  • Evoke a greater sense of self-compassion and self-care

  • Be a safe space for you to explore your bodies’ somatic intelligence and wisdom within

This two hour womxn only workshop will provide you with a safe space to cultivate a curious connection to yourself through intuitive movement and self-massage.

Hannah is a yoga teacher and training yoga therapist who truly believes in the power of mind-body medicine, from evidence-based therapeutic yoga and movement therapies to esoteric healing modalities. Joanna is a Ayurvedic yoga massage therapist and energy and crystal intuitive who advocates creating deep body awareness through self-care, spaciousness and stillness.

For this workshop you will need: 

  • A yoga mat or a soft floor space to move on

  • Cushions, blankets or anything to make you comfortable

  • Massage oil + your favourite essential oils & a towel

  • A quiet environment
