The Nourished Mama - a day retreat for mamas and soon-to-be mamas
23 January 2026, 10am - 5pm — Sintra, Portugal
If you're feeling the desire for deep rest and relaxation, tending to your body and mind whilst also meeting other new or well-versed mamas or pregnant women - this retreat is for you. And you can do all of this and bring your baby along with you for intentional bonding time.
Connect with your baby and other mamas during this nourishing day retreat nestled amongst the ancient trees of the Sintra forest.
This is for the mamas.
The Nourished Mama day retreat is for mothers and soon-to-be mothers who are looking for the village. It's for the mothers who want to feel seen, heard and supported - and find a like-souled community of other mothers.
Connect with your baby or bump AND tend to your needs. Mothers needs often get overlooked during early motherhood, and the mothers needs are the most important. The mother is at the heart of the family system and without a thriving mother, this ripples out to the baby and other members of the family.
All of you is welcome here. Spend a day with other mothers and pregnant women connecting, resting, sharing experiences, having honest conversations and generally being nourished.
Still in the height of winter, January can feel a little polarizing — the external pressures of springing into action vs the internal desire to nourish and replenish.
It’s also often a tricky time to want to and be able to meet other mothers (especially if you’ve recently birthed). My intention is to create a space in which you can do this — whilst nourishing your body, mind and heart.
Connect with other women and come away feeling welcomed, held and listened to.
Deepen connections and find your village.

Hi, Im Hannah.
Integrative Somatic Psychotherapist. Perinatal Therapist. Pregnancy Yoga Teacher. Mother.
I live near Fonte da Telha, just south of Lisbon with my partner, my dog and my 2 year old boy, Hopi, who so far he has been my biggest teacher.
I’m still learning and in the early phase of my motherhood journey. I strongly believe this journey should be shared, whatever it looks like for you - whether you’re navigating conception, are pregnant, or at any stage of post-partum.
Community makes me thrive and I’m creating this retreat for myself as well as you! I’ve made some of my now closest friends from running this retreat, and hope the same for you too.

The nannies arrive during lunch and there is generally one nanny per two babies. I will ask each nanny to assign themselves to you and your baby, so you can brief them on anything they need to know.

-
The retreat is open to babies aged 0-3. I have found that mamas who come with younger and less mobile babies tend to have a more relaxing time, simply because they are able to sit in one space without running after their child - however, you know your baby, and it is still a wonderful day to spend with your toddler as well as a chance to connect with other mothers.
-
Any stage of pregnancy is welcome into this space. All practices will be tailored to suit your stage of pregnancy and post-partum.
-
A list of items will be sent to you ahead of the day - this is mainly for the babies, to make your day as easeful as possible.
