My initial interest in yoga was sparked at the young age of 15. I experienced the magic first hand through attending classes with my mother and decided to deepen my knowledge of not only the asana practice, but also the history and philosophy of yoga, and meditation practices.
I completed my initial 200 hours in Bali with Bridget Woods Kramer in Anusara Yoga; a branch of Hatha yoga that uniquely integrates deep spiritual teachings and precise principles of alignment into the physical asana practice. I then went on to train in Yin Yoga and Mindfulness Meditation with Sarah Lo, deepening my understanding in the importance of combining a dynamic Yang practice alongside this slower, more releasing and therapeutic Yin practice. I have a profound love for Yin Yoga. It has helped me to recover from injury whilst also supporting my own mental health, and I’m passionate about guiding others through this transformational practice. I also combine pranayama techniques and meditation into most of my classes and workshops.
I currently teach at a few locations in London and offer large and small group classes, 1-1 private classes and yoga in the workplace.
